The company is based in Dehradun, the capital city of the mountain state of Uttaranchal, which is famous worldwide for the manufacture of these products.

Kay Crafts was established in 1965 by Kamal Jeet Kapoor.

His son Mr. Rajesh Kapoor, joined him in business in ’89. After undergoing a tough apprenticeship with the parental firm, Rajesh founded his own company in 1992 – Kapoor Steel Crafts.

Both concerns are 100 % export oriented units, catering to a worldwide market.
